Our Terminal
ECM Terminals Limited Calabar Free Ports is a multipurpose terminal designed to handle and store various types of cargo. The terminal, which consists of three berths, 4-6 has a total length of 480m.
ECM Terminals Limited Calabar Free Ports which is situated at cordinates 4° 58′ 58.3428” N and 8° 20′ 4.2108” E is strategically located at Nigerian Ports Authority Calabar New Port Complex which has close proximity to the Calabar Free Trade Zone and is the easiest evacuation corridor for cargo destined for Cross River, Akwa Ibom as well as other States within the South East and North Central areas of Nigeria and the neighboring landlocked countries of Niger and Chad Republic.
Currently, ECM Terminals Limited Calabar is the market leader in the bulk as well as break bulk cargo niche market in the Calabar pilotage district and is primly positioned to be the terminal of choice for the export of agricultural produce in the eastern port. While the calls of container vessels have been few in the past largely due to the channel limitations of the Calabar channel, the port through her ingenuity brokered a deal that has heralded the return of container operations in Calabar. The call of such vessels has become a relief for importers as well as exporters as a viable alternative now exist in Calabar.
